I've been hard at work making a crochet hook holder for my clover hooks.

I got the pattern from one of the lovely ladies in one of my crochet groups, after seeing her completed one in the groups photo section.

Here is the web addy to my group http://groups.yahoo.com/group/kitchen_n_bathexchangecorner/

You can see Daisy's version of the holder here at her blog.

Here is what she told me though I modified just it a tiny bit.

For the case, using my main color, I did a ch28. Then I did a row of hdc, then a row of dc and alternated back and forth until it reached the length I wanted (about 12")

For the edging I first did two rows of dc in my secondary color.

I then picked up the main color and made a shell border. Made with a SC, hdc, dc, hdc, SC for the shell look in the dc spaces and just a SC in the hdc spaces.

The band to hold the hooks came from an online free pattern, which I did in my secondary color. http://www.berroco.com/exclusives/kluster/kluster.HTML
