Blue Sky

Hi all,  I’ve decided to try my hand at a granny square.  The first thing I did was copy and paste the pattern into Microsoft word then I replaced all the abbreviations with actual words.  This way I practice the abbreviations,  familiarize myself with the pattern and when I go to crochet it,  I’ll have a much easier time.  I was given a great tip by one of the people in the crochet group I belong to,  it was to go to http://www.digitalgranny.com/va/ to find granny squares.  This is an awesome site and I could spend hours looking at all the cool patterns and play with the virtual afghan creator.  I eventually decided on a wonderful pattern called Blue Sky .  Well, time for me to go if I want to get started crocheting.  I’ll let you know how it turns out.
